The rhythm is also played by the afoxé group Filhos de Gandhy in Salvador, Bahia. This arrangement is for instruments commonly played in samba school baterias in Rio de Janeiro, including surdos, Caixa, repique, repique mor, timbal, tamborim, agogo, xekere, and caxixi.
